Jenae is the hapiest person I believe I have ever met, maybe that is because she happens to be the singer in one of Beijings best bands, Violette and The Hunters.
Ive forgotten the name of the guy to her left, but he is a lot of fun on stage when drunk. A lot of power in that man. My Spansih friend Chekah is behind the drums, he is one of the production guys at the Mexico event I was working on a while. Then ofc we have the standard dudes, Tavey and Cian. Today they were slapping the bass and it was a real turn on. They playt really well together.
This night was great, I love this place.
Another epic soul night at the corners..
Gulou Dong Da Jie NO. 70
Open Daily between 8am-2am
Café Alba is a great breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or just drinks place. They have got roof top, great grilled salmon and nice coffee. The grilled salmon is actually beyond great, it is freaking awesome. 48 kuai and filled with love and garlic. The menu is big enough to attract both Chinese and Western guests with different taste. Beefeaters and vegetarians will both find something. Vegans though, might have a difficult time. The interiors are nice and clean, vintage style and concrete. The art on the walls seemes unfinished, which is a little annoying.
If my score matters, Ill give it 4 out o5.
Well, I love mashed potato and they completely failed it. But they took it back with no problems at all and stroke it off my tab. They even offered to heat it up again and add some milk, to make it less dry which is what I complained about. So, they dont do everything perfect from start, but they are super serviceminded.
This was an incredibly lazy Sunday and er was just in the mood for good food and coffee. We had our minds set on getting to 4 Corners to play Munchkin with some people, but we took a stroll through Nanluoguxiang first.
Had some brunch at Cafe Alba on Gulou Dong Da Jie and then headed over to our final destination, 4 Corners.
